A fire incident occurred yesterday (07 May 2026) at a data centre in the Netherlands, impacting the Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2C production service infrastructure. As a consequence, data production and publication have been unavailable since 08:30 UTC on 07 May 2026.
Mitigation activities are currently ongoing to restore the service. Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2C data acquired during the interruption have not been lost and will be published once production resumes. A follow-up communication will be issued once the anomaly is resolved.
