Who are the

Collaborative Partners?

The Collaborative Ground Segment consists of National entities retrieving and disseminating data to their local communities for EO data exploitation.


Element of the Distribution Network:
CollGS and DHRs

To support the Collaborative GS (CollGS), the DHR Network has been designed to increase the number of data access points and overall re-dissemination capacity of Sentinel Data, providing additional redundancy for managing any unavailability and extra dissemination bandwidth to complement the standard access from the Core Ground Segment managed by ESA.

Living Planet Symposium has taken place on 23-27/06/2025 in Vienna!

At the Living Planet Symposium in Vienna, Serco presented the GSS platform and the Data Hub Suite (DHS), showcasing their key role in enabling reliable and scalable access to Copernicus Sentinel data. The event offered an opportunity to demonstrate operational capabilities and ongoing service evolution to the Earth Observation community.

Collaborative Ground Segment workshop has taken place on 4-5/03/2025 in Lisbon!

The Collaborative Ground Segment & DTE Workshop has taken place in Lisbon on 4–5 March 2025, bringing together ESA and national partners. The event reviewed the status and evolution of CollGS initiatives. Technical roadmaps, use cases, and collaboration opportunities were presented. This workshop was a key meeting for the Earth Observation and Copernicus community.

GSS Operational Workshop has taken place on 20/02/2025 in Rome!

SERCO successfully held the GSS Operational Workshop on 20 February at its Rome premises, welcoming DHR/Collaborative users in a hybrid format. The event offered an in-depth overview of the new GSS showcasing operational workflows and recent technical enhancements.
